He was so good at checking up on my husband I constantly and making sure we were good. We tried a bunch of his recommendations and they were all good. “ We noticed there are always a lot of cars outside of this place, so we thoughtgit must be good and it was. We made a reservation for 5:30 and we're seated right away. There was a wait for others who just walked in. We ate inside, but there is an outdoor section. The cornbread was an excellent appetizer, we personally wished it didn't have the peppers in it though. The prime rib was very tender with a good creamy horseradish sauce. I had 1/2 slab of ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Ribs were good, but not really meaty. Our desserts were excellent, but huge for one person, wish we had shared. ”

“ I highly recommend this restaurant. I ate there last month with my girlfriend for my birthday and everything was amazing! The parking lot was full of cars when we arrived & we showed up half an hour before our reservation but they seated us immediately. The temperature in the restaurant was perfect and the ambiance was upscale despite it being a casual environment. Our server Jenae was attentive and offered great suggestions. I appreciated the small menu with limited options. It made it a lot easier to decide what to choose. I had the prime rib and my girlfriend had the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly and required no seasoning at all. Not even any salt & pepper. We also had the mac & cheese and for desert, we went with Jenae's suggestion for the carrot cake. It was to die for! I can honestly say that it was the BEST carrot cake I have ever tasted. I had a fantastic birthday dinner and will be back again. ”

“ A Place That Finally Got It Right! You know that spot in town that has had a million different restaurants, with a million different owners... and they were all terrible? Always the same story — awful food, no vibe, nothing ever worked there. Well, not this time. This new place is a total game changer. The atmosphere is great — modern, casual, even has TVs with games on — definitely a spot that can please everyone. And the food? Wow. I had the pork ribs with coleslaw, and let me tell you: absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and full of flavor, and the coleslaw was fresh, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, it comes in second only to my favorite spot, Alexander’s. The fries could be crispier — that’s the only thing I’d improve — but everything else was spot on. My husband had the blueberry pancakes with a hint of lemon. Oh my... so fluffy, light, perfectly cooked, and served with maple syrup and fresh whipped cream. Simply amazing. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, I won’t lie. But for once, it actually feels worth it. The food is really well-made, the portions are generous, and the whole experience just works.
